The Department of Pathology at the University of California San Francisco is seeking an outstanding candidate for a full-time faculty position in Surgical Pathology with an emphasis on Renal and Pulmonary Pathology, including interpretation of transplant biopsies. She/he is expected to participate in departmental teaching activities for medical students, house-staff, and fellows, and in interdepartmental conferences. The individual will also be expected to participate in translational research. Candidates with experience in renal and/or lung pathology will be favorably considered.

Candidates must have a valid California medical license (or qualifications to obtain one), and be Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology. Salary and appointment rank (Assistant Professor level in the Clinical X Series) will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and training. This position is based in the Department of Pathology at the Parnassus campus.
