In addition, the candidate will perform brain imaging of the activity of large populations of neurons in the mouse brain during the administration of general anesthetics and other compounds. The candidate will be responsible for preparing mice for the recordings, which involves surgical implantation of a lens through which a head mounted camera can monitor activity.
