The Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking outstanding candidates for a full time, academic plastic and reconstructive surgeon with an exemplary record of patient care and expertise. Candidates must be board certified/board eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Additional training in Microsurgery is preferred. Applicants’ materials must list eligible, and/or pending qualifications upon submission.

Primary clinical responsibilities will be in general plastic and microsurgical reconstruction at UC Health locations including Parnassus, St. Francis and Mt. Zion campuses. Additionally, this position will include support as the wound care director at the UC Parnassus campus. The candidate will also support call responsibility at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, in addition the UCSF Health locations.

Candidates must have recognized skills in the education of surgery residents and medical students and will be expected to be active participants in the Department’s residency training and educational programs.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $154,700 - $405,900. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
