Academic Transplant Nephrologist

The Division of Nephrology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) seeks a transplant nephrology faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate, or Full Professor in either the HS Clinical, Professor in Residence, Professor of Clinical X, & or Professor (Ladder Rank) series.
Applicants must have an MD degree (or equivalent), be board certified/board eligible in Nephrology and have completed a Transplant Nephrology Fellowship Training in an AST Accredited Program. Although this mostly is a clinical position, preference will be given to those who have the potential to conduct original research (as evidenced by publication track record and prior formal research training).

The total compensation for this position ranges from $316,936-$398,421.
Total compensation at the University of California, San Francisco includes your base salary, which is determined by your rank and step at appointment, and negotiated pay for Health Sciences Compensation Plan members. Faculty who are members of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan may also be eligible for additional incentive pay.
