Position description

Morrison Lab – Junior/Assistant/Associate/Full Specialist

The Morrison Lab is seeking a Junior, Assistant, Associate, or Full Specialist. The candidate will conduct full-time, specialized clinical imaging research at the intersection of MRI and neuromodulation, develop AI tools for clinical imaging applications in neuromodulation, lead and contribute to manuscript preparation, scientific writing, and dissemination of research findings at international conferences, and contribute to a multidisciplinary research team and collaborate closely with clinical collaborators.

Required Qualifications:

  • Specialists appointed at the Junior rank must possess a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) in a related science (bioengineering, computer engineering, or related discipline), or at least four years of research experience.
  • Specialists appointed at the Assistant rank must possess a master’s degree (or equivalent degree) or a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) with three or more years of research experience.
  • Specialists appointed at the Associate rank must possess a master’s degree (or equivalent degree) or five to ten years of research experience.
  • Specialists appointed at the Full rank must possess a terminal degree (or equivalent degree) or ten or more years of research experience.
  • Applicants must meet all the qualifications by the time of hire.
  • Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in machine learning and AI tool development.
  • Prior medical imaging research experience.
  • Prior experience working with clinical teams and clinical imaging systems.
  • Independent specialized research.

See Table 24B for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $57,000-$201,700.
