Associate Specialist- Sohal Lab
Department of Psychiatry
University of California, San Francisco
The Department of Psychiatry is now recruiting an Associate Specialist. This individual will lead experiments using genetically encoded voltage indicators to identify cell type-specific patterns of synchrony involved in cognitive flexibility and study underlying mechanisms.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent degree) or five to ten years of relevant experience.
- Background in neuroscience.
- Experience with in vivo physiology, data analysis, rodent behavioral assays, stereotactic surgery, and manuscript publication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Neuroscience or related field
- Experience with genetically encoded voltage indicators, analyses of neural synchrony.
