Position description

Junior Specialist- Krogan lab
Quantitative Biosciences Institute

The Research Associate will play a key role in supporting molecular cell biology and proteomics research for a 2 month project in the Krogan Lab. Projects will include performing wet-bench techniques like gene cloning and protein purification, analyzing mass spectrometry data with bioinformatics tools, and creating visual data representations. The role also offers the opportunity to collaborate in group discussions throughout the research process—from experimental design to manuscript preparation—and to apply in-house bioinformatics pipelines for data analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or at least four years of research experience at the time of appointment.
