Division of Rheumatology, Department of Pediatrics
Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, and In Residence Faculty Series
The Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals are recruiting faculty positions at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor rank of the Adjunct, Clinical X, Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, or In Residence faculty series. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.
Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and established fellowship training program. This position may have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses and would actively contribute to the Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical degree and license
- Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics
- Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Rheumatology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in a career in academic pediatrics
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across pediatric disciplines
- Experience in patient care and research for childhood-onset Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
- Proven success in clinical research, including conducting clinical trials and studying innovative treatments
For positions that are 51% effort or more:
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $110,500-$333,700. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
For positions that are 50% effort or less:
See Table 2 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $78,900-$238,300.
