Academic Transplant Nephrologist

The Division of Nephrology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) seeks a transplant nephrology faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate, or Full Professor in the HS Clinical, Adjunct, Clinical X, or In Residence series.
Applicants must have an MD degree (or equivalent), be board certified/board eligible in Nephrology and have completed (or in the process of completing) a Transplant Nephrology Fellowship Training in an AST Accredited Program. Although this mostly is a clinical position, preference will be given to those who have the potential to conduct original research (as evidenced by publication track record and prior formal research training). The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $127,000-$333,700. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
