Physiatrist
University of California, San Francisco
The UCSF Department of Neurological Surgery and Department of Orthopaedic Surgery seek a Physiatrist to join the UCSF Spine Center and our department network sites. The UCSF Spine Center is a well-equipped, newly renovated tertiary care clinic on the Parnassus campus, which houses five spinal neurosurgeons and has an adjacent ASC. The position entails outpatient care of our spine patient population who require conservative treatment prior to potential surgery at a combination of network sites, as well as Parnassus, and Mission Bay campuses. We seek to fill the available position as soon as possible. Qualified applicants must have a MD or equivalent, completed a four-year Residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) and Board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR), by the time of hire. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $149,700 - $393,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
