Position description

Flavell Lab - Assistant/Associate/Full Professional Research Series

The Flavell Lab in the Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging is looking for individuals interested in a professional researcher position at UCSF. This position is for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professional Researcher. Areas of specialization and responsibilities include development of new molecular imaging probes for detection of cancer. Areas of interest include imaging probes for the detection of prostate cancer and hematologic malignancies. Radiopharmaceutical therapies targeting this cancer will also be developed by the selected candidate.

Required Qualifications:

  • Appointees in the Professional Research series must possess a doctorate or its equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in hyperpolarized MRI and PET research preferred.
  • Track record of independent research.
  • Completion of post-doctoral fellowship.

See Table 13B for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $90,200-$240,000.
