Adjunct Rank Faculty Position – Full Professor (Part-time)
The UCSF Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry is seeking a full adjunct professor faculty to join the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Mission Bay Campus in San Francisco.
We seek an innovative scientist who defines and addresses fundamental questions in the physical chemistry of biological interfaces, organellar junctions and subcompartments, both membrane-bound and liquid-liquid compartments, biomolecular condensates, including disease-associated aberrant phase separation.
Adjunct faculty candidates are expected to hold a Ph.D., at the time of hire to have demonstrated research accomplishments and potential, and to be committed to the mentorship of students and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in research and to promote the success of our diverse student population. The successful candidate will establish a dynamic and interactive research program and join one or more of our top-ranked interdisciplinary graduate programs (see https://graduate.ucsf.edu/list-programs).
Faculty appointment will be made at a professorial rank commensurate with current academic standing. UCSF offers competitive salaries and has numerous opportunities for faculty development and further training in mentorship.
