Position description

Junior Specialist- Goldberg Lab
Department of Physiology
University of California, San Francisco

The successful applicant will help design new experiments to assist in ongoing projects in the Goldberg lab. The applicant will be expected to collaborate with other members in the Goldberg lab, maintain updated lab notebooks, follow or develop new lab protocols, analyze and interpret data, and present updates at weekly lab meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent degree) or at least four years of research experience
  • The candidate must have at least 1 year of direct experience with molecular or cellular biology techniques that was performed outside of any undergraduate lab courses taken in pursuit of their college degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability or willingness to work with live rodents.
