UCSF Department of Dermatology
Mount Zion/China Basin/Mission Bay/ Berkeley Outpatient clinical services

The Department of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco is conducting a search for an academically interested medical dermatologist at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels. The position will focus clinically on outpatient medical dermatology, which will involve direct delivery of clinical care at one or two of our clinical sites including: Mount Zion campus, China Basin, Mission Bay, Berkeley outpatient clinic, and other sites as needed. The opportunity also includes approximately one half day per week supervising trainees in the dermatology teaching clinics at the Mt. Zion campus.

Applicants with all academic interests in medical dermatology are encouraged to apply. Departmental priorities for this search include vulvar dermatology, contact dermatitis, artificial intelligence/ machine learning, clinical trials, hidradenitis suppurativa, connective tissue disease, and hair and/or nail expertise.

Requirements:
The chosen candidate must be board certified or eligible in Dermatology at time of hire.
Candidates are required to hold a MD, or MD/PhD degree.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $149,700-$393,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
