Appointment As: Assistant HS Clinical Professor. FCM is a National Health Service Corps site and this position may qualify for loan repayment assistance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco is recruiting for one faculty member for the Department of Family & Community Medicine. The position will require clinical precepting/teaching of residents at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (20-30%), clinical work in high resolution anoscopy through the UCSF Division of Infectious Diseases (30%), and programmatic work in sexually transmitted infections and HIV prevention at the UCSF Bixby Center and UCSF Global Health (training, technical assistance, and program evaluation, 40-50%). Appointment will be made at the Assistant HS Clinical series.

Qualifications: Must be certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, credentialed through the American Academy of HIV Medicine, and have a valid California medical license. Must have previous teaching and/or curricular development experience in STI and HIV prevention. Must have prior experience in performing high resolution anoscopy (HRA). Must have prior experience working in a public health department setting. Prior experience and commitment to working with underserved populations, racially and ethnically diverse patients and staff is essential.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $86,500-$112,800. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
