Director of the Melanoma Skin Cancer Program
UCSF Department of Dermatology
The Department of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking outstanding applicants for a full-time position as an Associate or Full Professor as Director of the Melanoma Skin Cancer Program within our medical dermatology division. The position will involve direct delivery of clinical care at a new state-of-the-art outpatient dermatology clinic and/or Cancer Center located at the Mission Bay campus. Clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of pigmented lesions including primary melanomas and cutaneous oncology is a priority. Top candidates should demonstrate experience and strong vision for leading multidisciplinary collaboration with medical and surgical oncology, procedural dermatology, dermatopathology, and basic and translational research teams. The clinical care-focused position may also include seeing patients at one of the other UCSF clinical sites and approximately one-half day per week supervising trainees in the dermatology teaching clinics.
Requirements:
Candidates must be eligible for Dermatology licensure in California by the time of hire and have strong clinical skills and interest in serving a diverse patient population.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $177,100-$377,200 and this position may include additional guaranteed compensation based upon clinical duties. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
