Family and Community Medicine Residency Program

Appointment As: Assistant, Associate, or Full HS Clinical Professor or Professor of Clinical Family and Community Medicine, depending on experience and qualifications. FCM is a National Health Service Corps site and this position may qualify for loan repayment assistance under this program.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco is recruiting for one (1) faculty for the Family & Community Medicine Residency Program, to serve as Medical Director of the ZSFG Adult Urgent Care Center. Appointment will be made at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank of the HS Clinical or Clinical X, series. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.

This recruitment is for core faculty positions in Family and Community Medicine at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Proposed job responsibilities include direct patient care; teaching; and administration. Final job description will be written at time of determining terms of faculty appointment.

Qualifications: Must be certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and have a valid California medical license. Must have previous teaching and/or curricular development experience. Prior experience and commitment to working with underserved populations, racially and ethnically diverse patients and staff is essential.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $129,800-$342,000. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
