Position description
The Cardiology Division of the University of California, San Francisco and the Roseman Institute are seeking a candidate for an instructor position for the newly established Health Technology Innovation course (Medicine 170.53 course). The course will train and empower future healthcare leaders with the necessary information to transform their ideas into working prototypes and then scale these prototypes for commercialization. This course will help catalyze innovation at UCSF, create a vibrant ecosystem for students, and make UCSF one of the few universities that offer robust innovation curriculum. The candidate must have formal training in engineering and more than 5 years’ experience in teaching undergraduate or graduate level courses on related topics. Interest and expertise in medical device design and/or a research background are highly desirable. The position will require 10% FTE effort.
