Position description

The University of California San Francisco (UCSF), Department of Orofacial Sciences invites applications for a position at the Assistant Professor level in the clinical series (HS Clinical or Clinical X) in the Division of Periodontology. The successful candidate will serve as a member of the University’s faculty, will participate in clinical service within the UCSF Division of Periodontology Clinics to care for patients and will teach, train and to contribute to the educational activities of predoctoral students, and postgraduate students in periodontology certificate program in the School of Dentistry. The applicant must possess a DDS or foreign equivalent; to be Board Certified in Periodontology; at least two years of teaching experience at the predoctoral and/or postgraduate level in periodontology; and must possess a dentist license in a state in the United States and a Conscious/Moderate Sedation Certification. Preference will be given to candidates who also have expertise in the areas of advance computer assisted design and manufacture in implantology procedures. Minimum salary range: $146,027-$155,000. The selected candidate may be eligible for additional negotiated compensation.
