Position description
The Cardiology Division at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a board certified/board eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist for a full-time faculty position.
Required qualifications:
• Candidates should be board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and board eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Must hold an MD, MD/PhD, MBBS/PhD, or MD/MPH degree.
Preferred qualifications:
• Track record of independent research.
• Must have experience performing complex catheter ablations (AF, VT) and device implantation (pacemaker, defibrillator, resynchronization therapy), and must be qualified for appointment at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.
• Must have a proven track record of research, supported by first or senior authored publications.
• Experience with pacemaker/defibrillator lead extractions.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $104,800-$320,100. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
