Position description
UCSF Fresno & CCFMG – Pediatric Hospitalist
The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG) are currently recruiting for pediatric hospitalist faculty members at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. UCSF Fresno is a regional UCSF campus, and the candidate will hold a faculty appointment with and be part of the UCSF Pediatrics Department in San Francisco. The candidate must have completed a residency in Pediatrics. The candidate must either hold a California Medical license or be eligible to obtain a California Medical license. Must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics. The responsibilities include teaching medical students and residents in inpatient pediatrics. Bilingual Spanish/English and clinical research experience desirable. Academic rank and salary will be consistent with the successful candidate’s professional background.
The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living. Limitless recreational opportunities and spectacular scenery is all accessible in a community with abundant affordable housing. While there is much to see and do in Fresno, the city is ideally located for fast, convenient getaways to the majestic Sierra (just 90 minutes away) as well as the scenic Central Coast, just two and one-half hours away. Fresno is the only major city in the country with close proximity to three national parks, including renowned Yosemite National Park.
For positions exclusively funded by the affiliate organization:
CCFMG provided a reasonable salary estimate for this position $170,000-$210,000.
