Position description
UCSF Fresno & Inspire Health – Hematology Oncology Faculty
UCSF Fresno and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG), dba Inspire Health are recruiting for a Hematologist/Oncologist at the Assistant, Associate and Full Clinical Professor rank. UCSF Fresno Hematology/Oncology fellowship program (two fellows per year) is ACGME accredited and started in July 2016. As of September 2018, the out-patient clinical/research program is located at the new Community Cancer Institute. The successful candidate will see patients in the ambulatory care and provide inpatient consultations. In-patient consultations are provided at both Community Regional Medical Center and Clovis Community Medical Center. In addition, the selected candidate will also be expected to teach and participate in medical education. We have an active clinical research program and has been expanding since its inception in 2018. We participate in both co-operative group and Industry sponsored trials. We have regular tumor boards in all specialty areas.
Applicants must be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Candidates with interest in Breast Medical Oncology will be preferable. Have excellent clinical skills, be willing to actively participate in medical education, and have experience and interest in clinical research.
The position is based in Clovis, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living. The result is a quality of life uniquely Californian, yet surprisingly affordable. Limitless recreational opportunities and spectacular scenery is all accessible in a community with abundant affordable housing. While there is much to see and do, the city is ideally located for fast, convenient getaways to the majestic Sierra (just 90 minutes away) as well as the scenic Central Coast, just two and one-half hours away. Clovis is in close proximity to three national parks, including renowned Yosemite National Park.

Inspire Health provided a reasonable salary estimate for this position $400,000-$450,000
