UCSF Department of Dermatology
Mission Bay Outpatient Clinical Services
The Department of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking outstanding applicants for a full-time position as an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor for our Surgical-Mohs division. The position will involve direct delivery of clinical care at a new state-of-the-art outpatient medical and procedural dermatology clinic located at the Mission Bay campus. Clinical care in cosmetic and laser procedures is a priority, with option for additional Mohs micrographic surgery. Candidates with cosmetic and laser-only focus will be considered. The opportunity may also include approximately one-half day per week supervising residents and students in the dermatology teaching clinics at the Mount Zion campus or clinical care at one of the other UCSF clinical sites.
Requirements:
Candidates must be eligible for Dermatology licensure in California by the time of hire and have strong clinical skills and interest in serving a diverse patient population. If performing Mohs, the successful candidate will be a fellowship trained Mohs surgeon. Candidate’s application materials must state qualifications (or if pending) upon submission.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5: https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/2022-23/oct-2022-salary-scales/t5-summary.pdf. The minimum base salary range for this position is $135,700 -$213,500. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
