The UCSF Division of Hospital Medicine at UCSF Health is seeking applicants for clinical hospitalist positions. Our goal is to provide faculty members with clinical experiences that match their interests. Faculty positions include clinical experiences on the direct care, consult, comanagement, and ED triage services at UCSF Health clinical sites (Parnassus, Mission Bay, Mount Zion, and UCSF at St. Mary’s Hospital. Positions include daytime, nighttime, and swing shifts.

Successful candidates for faculty positions will be excellent clinicians with strong references. Successful candidates demonstrate a commitment to equitable patient care, strong interpersonal and communication skills and may have interests in furthering the field of hospital medicine through their scholarly or teaching experiences. Candidates must possess an MD, DO, or equivalent degree, be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, and be eligible for licensure in the State of California at the time of hire.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $104,800-$320,100. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
