Position description

Junior or Assistant Specialist- Fattahi Lab

This full-time position will include the following responsibilities: Culture and differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells Performing cell transplantation surgeries in mouse models of gastrointestinal disorders and peripheral neuropathies. Performing behavioral assays on mice and histology on transplanted tissues.

Required Qualifications:
• Specialists appointed at the junior rank must possess a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or at least four years of research experience
• Specialists appointed at the Assistant rank must possess a master’s degree or a baccalaureate degree with 3 or more years of research experience.
• Candidates should have a solid biology background with demonstrated knowledge in biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology.

Additional required qualifications include:
• Expertise in cell culture techniques and hPSC differentiation
• Proficiency in handling and performing surgeries on mice
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
• Post-graduate training in field
