Position description
UCSF Department of Neurological Surgery is seeking an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to join the full-time clinical neurosurgery service at Highland General Hospital and affiliate hospitals in Oakland, California. This is a full-time UCSF Neurosurgery Position. Responsibilities include clinical service, and teaching. The selected candidate is expected to participate in resident teaching. Candidate must have a MD or MD/PhD by the time of hire. Applicants’ materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission.
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $149,700 - $393,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
