ENDOCRINOLOGY PHYSICIAN

Veterans Affairs Central California Health Care System, Fresno, CA, affiliated with the University of California, San Francisco Medical Residency Program, a leader in health care quality is recruiting for a full-time faculty member in the Endocrinology department. This position is in the department of Medicine Service, VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS). VA provides patient-centered care, delivered by engaged, collaborative teams in an integrated environment that supports learning and continuous improvement. We are looking for a provider with outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills who will provide the highest quality veteran-centered care. Candidate must have completed a fellowship in Endocrinology upon hire. The physician must be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology and/or Internal Medicine. Candidate must have a medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) and must be eligible to obtain a US medical license. Applicant should have clinical experience and be willing to actively participate in medical education and have experience and interest in clinical research. It is preferred that the candidate has teaching experience and willing to teach rotating trainees. Applicants must also be eligible for appointment at the VA.
