Position description

The Department of Laboratory Medicine at the University of California San Francisco is seeking one or more full time faculty members to contribute to an active and growing program in cellular therapeutics. The selected candidate(s) will be appointed at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level in the “In Residence” track at UCSF. A PhD and/or MD (or equivalent degree) is required. Active extramural funding is required. Candidates with work activities at the interface of research and clinical care are preferred. In addition, a license (or qualifications to obtain a license) to practice medicine in the state of California and a history of devotion to teaching are preferred.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $106,900-$168,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
