Position description

The Sheshadri Lab is now recruiting for an Assistant Professional Researcher. The job duties/responsibilities for this position include:
• Physical therapy, specifically prehabilitation and safety of exercise in older or elderly adults who may have significant physical impairment.
• Motivational interviewing or expertise in behavioral interventions to promote engagement and adherence to exercise or activity.
• Qualitative interviewing or analysis experience to formally acquire and interpret data throughout the course of an exercise intervention.
• Telerehabilitation experience.

Required qualifications:
• Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• California Physical Therapy licensing.
• Certification in Strength Training.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with older adults or adults with chronic illnesses.
• History of potential to develop a sustained source of research funding.
