The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco is recruiting for the position of Clinician Educator in the Division of Geriatrics. The appointment will be made at the level of Assistant, Associate or full Professor of Medicine in the clinical or clinical X series. Candidates should be ABIM certified in Geriatrics and/or Palliative Medicine or ABIM board-eligible for Geriatrics or Palliative Medicine by having completed a Geriatrics and/or Palliative Medicine fellowship and have demonstrated competence in the practice and teaching of clinical geriatrics.
The UCSF Division of Geriatrics currently has job openings for clinician educators who are interested in clinical care in the ambulatory, nursing home, inpatient and/or home-based settings. Faculty will join an interprofessional team in providing comprehensive geriatric care and in teaching trainees how to provide geriatric care.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf) which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
