Associate Specialist- Narlikar Lab
The Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics is now recruiting for an Associate Specialist. The required qualifications for this position includes:
• Ph.D. in Biochemistry and/or Molecular Biophysics
• Experience in using Matlab
• Experience in investigating the biophysical mechanisms of chromatin remodeling enzymes
• Expertise in setting up and carrying out single-molecule FRET studies on ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling enzymes.
• Expertise should include reconstituting remodeling reactions using recombinant histones and remodeling enzymes, analyzing reaction kinetics by single-molecule FRET and using computational methods for data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Post-graduate training in field
• Experience in developing code to analyze single-molecule data
• Experience in mentoring graduate students
