UCSF FRESNO
PEDIATRIC INFECTIOUS DISEASE OPPORTUNITY

University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Fresno Medical Education Program and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG) are currently recruiting for academic faculty in pediatric infectious diseases at the Assistant, Associate or full Professor rank. The successful candidate must have completed a pediatric residency, be board-certified in pediatrics, have completed subspecialty training in pediatric infectious diseases, be board-certified or eligible for certification in pediatric infectious diseases, have training or experience in Antibiotic Stewardship (AS) and/or Infection Control (IC), and have a U.S. medical license at the time of hire. Responsibilities include teaching residents and students, leading pediatric AS and IC programs at a large Regional Medical Center, and providing specialty care to patients on both teaching and non-teaching services. Interest or experience in patient-oriented research is desirable. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s professional background and experience. UCSF Fresno Department of Pediatrics faculty have academic appointments through the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, and are integrated into the academic activities of the Divisions of Pediatrics at UCSF.
