The Department of Orofacial Sciences, School of Dentistry, University of California San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a faculty member for its multidisciplinary programs in teaching, clinical care and oral health research. A full-time position is available (at the Assistant or Associate rank in the Ladder, In Residence, Clinical X or HS Clinical series) with principal emphasis on oral and maxillofacial radiology/imaging teaching and diagnosis. Outstanding opportunities are available for research and intramural practice and include collaborations with the Department of Radiology of the School of Medicine¸ where a joint appointment could be offered to a suitably qualified candidate. DDS or equivalent and advanced training in oral radiology with certification by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology are required. Candidates for the Associate rank must have an outstanding record of teaching, research and service.

UCSF comprises the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy, and a number of hospitals and outpatient clinics. Close academic and clinical links also exist with the UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center, UCSF Dermatopathology & Oral Pathology Service, UCSF Medical Imaging, Oral Medicine Clinic, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery.
