Chief Urology Division

UCSF Fresno and the Central California Faculty Medical Group are seeking an experienced academic leader to establish the UCSF Fresno Division of Urology and serve as chief of that division within the Department of Surgery. The Urology Division will be expected to develop and establish a residency program in the near future. The program is based at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC), a tertiary 650 bed hospital in the central San Joaquin Valley.

Applicants must be board certified in urological surgery, have proven leadership skills, have demonstrated ability to create collaborative relationships, and have an established area of research interest. The successful candidate for the Urology Division Chief will have excellent clinical and teaching skills. The Chief, under the direction of the Chief of Surgery, will provide key leadership in the strategic direction of the division, enhance educational programs for medical students and residents and expand the research mission of the surgery department. The successful candidate is preferred to have a California license or eligible to obtain a California license at the time of hire.
