Description

THE DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA SAN FRANCISCO (UCSF) is recruiting for the position of Research Scientist in the Division of Geriatrics. The appointment will be made at the level of Assistant or Associate Adjunct Professor. Candidates should have an MD and/or PhD. Physician candidates should be ABIM certificated in Geriatrics and/or Palliative Medicine. Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in patient oriented research or biology of aging research. Applicants are expected to have career development award funding and to ultimately develop an independent research program in aging research. Candidates must also have recognized skills in teaching and mentoring in an academic and scientific based institution.
