VACCHCS PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN POSITION
Veterans Affairs Central California Healthcare System (VACCHCS) is seeking a full-time faculty member to serve as a Primary Care physician. Applicants must have a medical degree; MD, DO or equivalent, board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, have completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, eligible to obtain a US medical license and have clinical experience. Must have clinical and teaching academic experience. This position will function as an important member of the UCSF Fresno residency and fellowship programs. The Primary Care programs include three Community-based outpatient Clinics, as well as Women’s health services at the VA main facility in Fresno. VACCHCS is a Complexity Level IC health care facility. We have an active and expanding clinical research program. Faculty appointment with UCSF will be commensurate with the applicant’s background and accomplishments. The program is located in Fresno, California, a vibrant, growing but affordable community in the Central California Valley just a short drive to Yosemite and other national parks.
