UCSF FRESNO ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF THE LATINO PROGRAM AND DIRECTOR OF THE UCSF FRESNO LIBRARY - UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SAN FRANCISCO FRESNO MEDICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM

The University of California San Francisco Fresno campus is recruiting an Associate Director of the Latino Program and Director of the UCSF Fresno Library. The successful candidate must have familiarity with the demographics of the Central Valley in California, have excellent communication skills, have experience in successful grant writing, have experience in outcomes assessment, and an expressed interest in working with minority populations. Previous leadership experience is preferable but not required. The successful candidate must hold a Doctoral degree (PhD or D Ed) and qualify for a UCSF faculty appointment. The successful candidate will spend approximately 0.8 FTE of their time assuming an associate leadership position in the UCSF Fresno Latino Center, a highly successful pipeline program for students interested in careers in healthcare. The candidate will work within the program to assist secondary schools in curricular development, work with local Universities in Healthcare Opportunities, and provide analytical support for the programs. The remaining 0.2 FTE will be providing faculty oversight of the UCSF Fresno Medical Library currently staffed by two librarians. In that role they will work with UCSF library leadership in meeting the needs of physicians-in-training and in expanding community outreach.
