The Division of Nephrology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) seeks one full time faculty at the rank of Instructor in the Adjunct series and one full time faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Adjunct series.
Applicants must have an MD or equivalent degree and must be board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology by the date of hire. Demonstrated interest in clinical trials in acute kidney injury, willingness to commit majority of effort to research and research training (including formal enrollment in degree granting program) and advanced kidney and pancreas transplantation fellowship-level training strongly preferred. Completion of training in one of the top research oriented renal fellowship programs in the country, interest and track record in Global Health and familiarity with the multiple hospital system at UCSF are also strongly preferred.
