The Department of Psychiatry is now recruiting for a Junior Specialist. The work will involve projects in computational genetics working with large data sets (including whole genome chip-seq, rna-seq, human genomic and exome sequencing). Specialists appointed at the junior rank must possess a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or at least four years of research experience. The job requires prior knowledge and expertise in coding, data base generation and management. The individual will be supervised by the PI and postdoctoral fellows, and will need to have good skills working with others in order to manage the data sets from multiple individuals. We are only interested in applicants who want to remain in the position for at least two years.
Screening of applicants will begin immediately and will continue as needed throughout the recruitment period. Salary will be commensurate with the applicants experience and training.
