The Department of Surgery is seeking a senior scientist. The laboratory specializes in Immunology and Stem Cell Biology. The senior scientist will manage ongoing projects in utero stem cell transplantation and maternal fetal cell trafficking. The successful candidate will be appointed in the Specialist series at the Associate or Full level.
Appointees in the Specialists series are expected to engage in specialized research, professional activities and do not have teaching responsibilities. Specialists are expected to use their professional expertise to make scientific and scholarly contributions, and may participate in University and Public Service. A PhD in Immunology, Stem Cell Biology, or a related field with 3 years of postdoctoral research experience is required. Independent specialized research is preferred.
