Assistant Professor In-Residence
UCSF Department of Dermatology

The Department of Dermatology at the University of California at San Francisco is seeking to appoint new faculty members whose research program will focus on utilizing high content screening and DNA methylome analysis to identify and further elucidate the role of novel genes, regulatory mechanisms, and DNA methylation alterations in epidermal homeostasis. The successful candidate will also devote a portion of his time towards Dermatology clinical services. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for teaching residents, medical students, and UCSF housestaff. The appointee will occupy space in the Cancer Center Space at the Mount Zion campus.

Candidates are required to hold a MD, or MD/PhD degree, and to have demonstrated achievement in their field. The deadline for applications to be considered in a timely manner is February 15, 2018.
