The UCSF Department of Neurosurgery is seeking an assistant or associate professor in residence to perform functional neurosurgery. The candidate must be an MD or MD/PhD, fellowship trained in functional neurosurgery, and have a research commitment specializing in invasive human electrophysiology. Candidate is expected to get NIH funding and spend 50% percent time in the lab for research as well as develop a research program. Responsibilities include clinical service, teaching residents and research.
