Position description

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is seeking a Musculoskeletal Radiologist for a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.

Faculty are expected to develop a clinical or more basic research program in the area of one's specialty focus. Responsibilities include clinical service, teaching and research. The selected candidate will supervise and teach residents, fellows and medical students. Obligations will include clinical work primarily at UCSF’s Parnassus Campus at the ACC building and UCSF’s Orthopedic Institute at Mission Bay, but may also include clinical work at UCSF Moffitt/Long Hospital, the VA Medical Center, UCSF/Mt. Zion, China Basin Outpatient Facility, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, and/or Mission Bay Hospital, all of which are affiliated teaching, clinical and research facilities of UCSF.

The position requires an MD degree (or equivalent), ability to practice medicine in California, expertise in Musculoskeletal Radiology, and completion of fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) in Radiology. The requirements are to be met at time of hire.
