Associate/Full Professional Researcher

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is looking for a researcher who is interested in an Associate/Full Professional Researcher position at UCSF.

Musculoskeletal Quantitative Imaging Research (MQIR) is an interdisciplinary research group in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco. The group forms a cohesive center for faculty members, postdoctoral fellows, research staff, and medical and graduate students to pursue teaching and research in quantitative tissue characterization focused on the musculoskeletal system.

Job duties:
Developing programs based on machine learning and simple vector machines for analyzing magnetic resonance images. Using representative atlases based on MR images, you will develop quantitative methods. Position will involve interacting with a diverse group of investigators including students, post-docs and clinical collaborators.

Candidate must possess a Ph.D.

CV must contain previous research experience.

Seeking candidates who have the ability to perform independent research in addition to supporting the lab.

Teaching methods for image analysis, and machine/deep earning experience preferred.
