CRMC is the principle tertiary care center and only Level One Trauma center in the Central Valley. Patients at CRMC with neuro-oncologic disorders are treated by a multidisciplinary team comprised Neurosurgical Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, a Neuro-Oncology nurse navigator, Social Workers, Speech and Language pathologist, and Palliative Care specialists. Neuro-Oncology has its own dedicated tumor board to discuss and coordinate patient care. Facilities at CRMC include a 20 bed Neurocritical Care Intensive Care Unit staffed by Neuro-Critical Care specialists and CyberKnife for delivery of stereotactic radiosurgery, making CRMC the only center in the Central Valley to provide comprehensive neurosciences services to patients with a wide range of neuroscience needs.

The program is based in Fresno, California, where residents enjoy a high standard of living combined with a low cost of living. The result is a quality of life uniquely Californian, yet surprisingly affordable. Limitless recreational opportunities and spectacular scenery is all accessible in a community with abundant affordable housing. While there is much to see and do in Fresno such as college sporting events, a minor league baseball team, and an amateur ice hockey team, the city is ideally located for fast, convenient getaways to the majestic Sierra (just 45 minutes away) the scenic Central Coast, (just two hours away), as well as California’s most popular theme parks (just three hours away). Fresno is the only major city in the country with close proximity to three national parks, including renowned Yosemite National Park.

We offer both a competitive salary and an academic appointment with the University of California San Francisco commensurate with the applicant’s background and accomplishments.
