Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, and In Residence Faculty Series

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, is seeking a faculty member to join the Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine, Cystic Fibrosis and Sleep Medicine. The rapidly growing division offers both inpatient and outpatient services and continuity care and has a comprehensive Cystic Fibrosis Center, a comprehensive sleep disorders program, muscular disorders program, asthma, aerodigestive and general pulmonary clinics. Strong clinical demand and an expanding division will offer the new faculty member an exciting array of opportunities to participate in the growth and development of the division.

Qualified candidates will possess a medical degree and license, Board certification in General Pediatrics, and Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine. The candidate will be expected to provide ambulatory and inpatient care including bronchoscopies at Benioff Children’s Hospitals and multi-specialty outpatient clinics. Responsibilities include developing a strong clinical and teaching base for medical students, residents and fellows. Candidates focusing on careers as physician-scientists or clinician educators will be considered equally. A track record of quality investigative work and/or program development is preferred.

Appointments will be made at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and full professor ranks of the Adjunct, Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinic X, or In Residence faculty series.
