The UCSF Department of Neurosurgery is seeking an assistant, associate, or full level professor to lead a research laboratory and program in developing viral therapies for brain tumors. The individual will be expected to be a principal investigator in the Brain Tumor Center (BTC) at UCSF. MD and PhD with extensive research experience with viral therapy for brain tumors in both preclinical and clinical settings, strong expertise in genetic engineering of viral vectors and basic understanding of cancer immunology are required. The person would direct this program and work with the director of the immunotherapy program Dr. Okada.
