The UCSF Department of Pediatrics, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and San Francisco are recruiting a Pediatric Musculoskeletal Pediatrician to provide diagnostic and interventional management for children with the full spectrum of musculoskeletal diagnoses. The selected candidate will be appointed to the Assistant Professor rank of the Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence faculty series, and will hold a joint appointment in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Applicants must possess a medical degree and license, fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Pediatrics, and Board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. The selected candidate will be expected to collaborate in investigative work that leads to publications in peer-reviewed journals and participate in teaching and mentoring activities for our medical students, residents, and fellows. The position will be based primarily at Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and its satellite clinics, but will have full access to all UCSF sites and academic resources.
