INFECTIOUS DISEASE FACULTY POSITION
UCSF Fresno and the Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG) are recruiting for infectious disease physicians to join the Infectious Diseases Division. Responsibilities will include providing consultations in the inpatient setting and in ambulatory settings, both teaching and nonteaching. In addition, the successful candidate will participate in antibiotic stewardship programs. The successful candidate will join an academic ID group with an ID fellowship. Applicants must be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or eligible in infectious diseases, have excellent clinical skills, be willing to actively participate in medical education, have interest in clinical research, and have training or actual experience in antibiotic stewardship. The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program practices in a large Regional Medical Center, in faculty practice sites and in a Veteran’s Hospital. Salary and faculty appointment with UCSF commensurate with experience.
