Assistant HS Clinical or Clinical X Professor- Thoracic Oncology Program

The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology/Oncology are recruiting for a new faculty member in the Thoracic Oncology Program.

Candidates must have an MD and be ABIM certified or eligible in Medical Oncology. Candidates should have also completed appropriate clinical research training and demonstrated a publication track record in clinical / translational research in Thoracic Oncology.

Candidates will have the responsibility for clinical care of patients with thoracic malignancies. It is also an expectation to develop a robust clinical or translational research program in Thoracic Medical Oncology in the context of an established multidisciplinary team. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to become a member of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center with access to all core resources and abundant opportunities for collaboration in translational science. The appointment will be made in the Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical series at the Assistant rank.
